Together with EUPAVE/European Concrete Paving Association, Alonso & Asociados organised a dinner-debate where the European Commission’s new Circular Economy package was presented. In the package the Commission proposes targets for waste reduction and an action plan for the whole life-cycle of products and materials. European Commission’s Director General for Environment Daniel Calleja presented the package while acknowledging that the durability of concrete pavements can make them a flagship industry of the Circular Economy.
