Emiliano Alonso participated as a speaker in the workshop entitled “Meat image & communication”, organized by the European Livestock and Meat Trading Union (UECBV) on Tuesday, 3rd October.
Emiliano, in his capacity of INTERPORC representative, spoke on the assesment of carcinogenicity of the consumption of red and processed meat published in October 2015 by IARC.
